660 33rd St, Manhattan Beach,

660 33rd St, Manhattan Beach,  660 33rd St (5br/6ba, 4663 sqft.) may be fresh in memory, because it last came to market 13 months ago (and sold, for $5.150M in Sept. '23).

660 33rd St, Manhattan Beach, Our description then was so good, we're going to practice recycling... From a July '23 post:

660 33rd St is a 2009-built Mediterranean that has just gotten a complete, head-to-toe restyling inside.

660 33rd St, Manhattan Beach, Almost the only vestiges of the original design are some dark flooring and a few arches. (Well, the exterior, too.) Inside, the style is fully that of a newer build or remodel of recent years, featuring white marble countertops, tons of white paint, and lots of accents drawn from East Coast beachy revival style homes – they added wainscoting to the dining room, wrapped fireplaces in (faux?) brick, and so forth.

The revamp gives you a chance to see the house much differently than when it was last on the market in late 2020, when the Mediterranean style was heavy, and the furniture emphasized it rather than hiding it. Heavy stone, dark woods, earth tone granite counters, travertine in the baths... it's all gone now.

660 33rd St, Manhattan Beach, Most living spaces are at the entry level, with a side courtyard on this street-to-alley lot. There's a den/office up front. A very large basement theater is set up downstairs with a giant projection screen.

The primary bath was completely rebuilt, with a totally different arrangement than the prior version, now featuring two separate sinks and cabinets, sizable shower and soaking tub.

1561 2nd Street, Manhattan Beach,
